Ser\u00e1 por franjas, los m\u00e1s baratos seguir\u00e1n sin pagar e incluso los m\u00e1s caros tendr\u00e1n un porcentaje menor que los veh\u00edculos a combusti\u00f3n interna. El decreto firmado por el presidente Yamand\u00fa Orsi y los ministros Gabriel Oddone y Fernanda Cardona, de Econom\u00eda y Finanzas y de Industria, Energ\u00eda y Miner\u00eda, respectivamente, toma en cuenta los valores de importaci\u00f3n de los veh\u00edculos para establecer tres franjas. La primera franja, que corresponde a los veh\u00edculos con valor de importaci\u00f3n que no supere los US$ 19.000, seguir\u00e1 con un 0% de Imesi, como hasta ahora. En la franja que abarca a los veh\u00edculos con valores de importaci\u00f3n entre US$ 19.000 y US$ 27.000, se pagar\u00e1 5% de Imesi. En la tercera y \u00faltima franja, para los veh\u00edculos con valor superior a US$ 27.000, el porcentaje de tributaci\u00f3n ser\u00e1 de 9%. En todos los casos, el cambio se aplicar\u00e1 a partir del 1\u00b0 de enero de 2027. Los veh\u00edculos de combusti\u00f3n interna tambi\u00e9n dividen su tributaci\u00f3n de Imesi por franjas vinculadas a las cilindradas, pero los m\u00e1s baratos pagan 23%, por lo que el gobierno afirma que con esta reciente resoluci\u00f3n no se quitan los incentivos a la movilidad el\u00e9ctrica, que ha ido consolid\u00e1ndose en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os.
