{"id":1942,"date":"2026-06-24T14:28:52","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T17:28:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/palmerodespachante.uy\/?p=1942"},"modified":"2026-06-24T14:28:53","modified_gmt":"2026-06-24T17:28:53","slug":"acuerdo-entre-el-mercosur-y-efta","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/palmerodespachante.uy\/index.php\/2026\/06\/24\/acuerdo-entre-el-mercosur-y-efta\/","title":{"rendered":"ACUERDO ENTRE EL MERCOSUR Y EFTA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>EL ACUERDO ENTRE EL MERCOSUR Y EFTA ENTRAR\u00c1 EN VIGENCIA ENTRE AGOSTO Y SETIEMBRE PESE AL RECHAZO DE SUIZA.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El acuerdo entre el Mercosur y la Asociaci\u00f3n Europea de Libre Comercio (EFTA) comenzar\u00eda a regir para Uruguay en los pr\u00f3ximos meses, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del rev\u00e9s que sufri\u00f3 el texto en Suiza, donde fue rechazado por la C\u00e1mara de Diputados. A nivel local, el Parlamento ya valid\u00f3 el convenio, al igual que lo hizo Brasil, por lo que el acuerdo va a entrar en vigor \u201centre agosto y setiembre\u201d, seg\u00fan precis\u00f3 la vicecanciller Valeria Csukasi, al destacar los avances de una eventual aplicaci\u00f3n. \u201cAlcanza con que cada uno de los pa\u00edses del Mercosur y de EFTA aprueben y entra en vigencia entre ellos, no se necesita que todos de todos lados lo aprueben\u201d, explic\u00f3 Csukasi y agreg\u00f3 que \u201cya va a estar funcionando entre Uruguay e Islandia y Noruega por agosto o setiembre\u201d. Lo mismo ocurrir\u00e1 con Brasil, aunque resta que se defina la situaci\u00f3n a nivel legislativo en Argentina, Paraguay, Suiza y Liechtenstein. En suelo helv\u00e9tico, tras el rechazo en Diputados, el texto llegar\u00eda al Senado entre julio o agosto y, de ser aprobado, volver\u00eda a la C\u00e1mara baja. La negativa inicial fue considerada como \u00abuna mala noticia\u00bb por Csukasi, que asegur\u00f3 que Canciller\u00eda intentar\u00e1 destrabar la situaci\u00f3n. El acuerdo Mercosur-EFTA abre oportunidades para Uruguay, con una zona de libre comercio de casi 300 millones de consumidores y un PIB conjunto de unos 4,3 billones de d\u00f3lares. De acuerdo a datos de 2024, el pa\u00eds concret\u00f3 exportaciones al bloque europeo por unos 34,8 millones de d\u00f3lares, lejos del r\u00e9cord de 163 millones de 2012.
