La normativa distingue entre operaciones en efectivo y transferencias. En el caso de los dep\u00f3sitos y retiros de efectivo, las instituciones deber\u00e1n informar a la UIAF las operaciones superiores a US$ 10.000 o su equivalente en otras monedas. Para los giros y transferencias locales, en tanto, deber\u00e1n reportarse las recepciones y entregas de fondos por importes superiores a US$ 1.000, cualquiera sea la modalidad operativa utilizada para su ejecuci\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n deber\u00e1n informarse las recepciones y entregas de fondos mediante giros y transferencias desde y hacia el exterior, sin que la normativa establezca un monto m\u00ednimo para esas operaciones. La resoluci\u00f3n dispone que, en el caso de los dep\u00f3sitos y retiros de efectivo, tambi\u00e9n deber\u00e1 comunicarse informaci\u00f3n sobre transacciones individuales inferiores a US$ 10.000 cuando la suma de las operaciones realizadas en un mismo instrumento de dinero electr\u00f3nico supere ese monto durante un mes calendario. El texto establece que la comunicaci\u00f3n de la informaci\u00f3n se realizar\u00e1 de acuerdo con las instrucciones y los plazos que ser\u00e1n definidos posteriormente. La disposici\u00f3n excluye expresamente las transacciones realizadas mediante instrumentos de dinero electr\u00f3nico para alimentaci\u00f3n. En los considerandos de la resoluci\u00f3n, el BCU record\u00f3 que las Instituciones Emisoras de Dinero Electr\u00f3nico se encuentran comprendidas entre los sujetos obligados previstos en la Ley N.\u00ba 19.574 de prevenci\u00f3n del lavado de activos. Tambi\u00e9n recuerda que la UIAF est\u00e1 facultada para solicitar informes, antecedentes y otros elementos que considere \u00fatiles para el cumplimiento de sus funciones.
