En rueda de prensa, el ministro de Econom\u00eda coment\u00f3 sobre la situaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica actual. \u00abEstoy atento a la situaci\u00f3n de la econom\u00eda internacional que es muy compleja y muy vol\u00e1til, pero al mismo tiempo est\u00e1 confiado en que la econom\u00eda uruguaya tiene las capacidades y las fortalezas necesarias como para atravesar un escenario de este tipo\u00bb, asegur\u00f3. As\u00ed, el gobierno adelant\u00f3 que extender\u00e1 las medidas que ya rigen para la frontera con Brasil, como el r\u00e9gimen simplificado de importaci\u00f3n y la exoneraci\u00f3n del 75% de los aportes patronales para nuevas y nuevos trabajadores, y ampliar\u00e1 el beneficio del Imesi a los combustibles. <strong>A partir del 1\u00ba de mayo, se extender\u00e1 el beneficio del descuento del 50% del Imesi a los combustibles en las estaciones de servicio que se encuentren entre los 20 y los 60 kil\u00f3metros de la frontera con Brasil,<\/strong> una medida que ya hab\u00eda sido aprobada a comienzos de este mes en el Parlamento. Tal y como hab\u00eda adelantado el gobierno, se aplicar\u00e1n dos medidas espec\u00edficas en el litoral lim\u00edtrofe con Argentina. Una de ellas es la exoneraci\u00f3n del 75% de los aportes patronales para nuevas y nuevos trabajadores. <strong>Por otro lado, anunciaron que la otra medida que se aplicar\u00e1 en la frontera con Argentina ser\u00e1 el r\u00e9gimen simplificado de importaciones<\/strong>.
