Actualmente el pa\u00eds tiene la nota inmediata anterior en dos de las principales agencias de riesgo: BBB+ para Standard &amp; Poor&#8217;s, y Baa1 para Moody\u2019s. \u201cBancos de inversi\u00f3n nos han dicho que Uruguay tiene oportunidades para poder aspirar a eso (calificaci\u00f3n A-\/A3) y, por lo tanto, estamos empezando a trabajar con una agenda para levantar o atacar aquellos temas que restringen ese acceso\u201d, afirm\u00f3 Oddone, recordando que esto es competencia de la Unidad de Gesti\u00f3n de Deuda del MEF, la cual est\u00e1 dirigida por Herman Kamil. A su entender, si las condiciones internacionales se mantienen sin grandes cambios o se vuelven m\u00e1s favorables a Uruguay, se podr\u00eda alcanzar esta meta en este per\u00edodo de gobierno. Lo cierto es que cuanto mejor es la calificaci\u00f3n crediticia, m\u00e1s posibilidades de captar inversiones, y tambi\u00e9n bajan los intereses que el pa\u00eds tiene que pagar por concepto de deuda, lo que libera recursos para otras prioridades.
